Q. How do you make your soaps?
A. We make our soaps using the traditional method called cold process soap making. We use natural oils such as olive oil, coconut oil, and shea butter. Each bar is cut, labelled, and packaged by hand. Because our soaps are handmade, each batch of soap may slightly vary in color shades and swirl styles. Each loaf and bar is unique!
Q. What do you make your soaps with?
A. All of our soaps are made with vegetable oils, essential oils, and all natural and safe pigment powder (for color).
Q. What is the size of your soap bars?
A. The dimensions are 3.5 in (L) x 1 in (W) x 2.5 in (H). Our soap bars are approximately 4.5 ounces, which is a bit more than the average bar sold. Because every batch of soap is handmade and unique, some bars may be a little less or a little more than 4.5 ounces but we guarantee the minimum weight to be 4 ounces.
Q. How long does a bar of soap last?
A. Depends on if you are using it just for your hands or for showering. A bar of soap for showering typically lasts around 2 - 3 weeks. This is based on normal use. Obviously, the more you lather up the bar will last shorter than this.
Q. How do I make my soap last longer?
A. Let your soap dry out between uses, by putting your soap on some kind of soap dish that allows air to circulate around the bar. A 'proper' soap dish will either raise the bar up for air to circulate from beneath, or contain air holes for drainage of water below the soap. You can also use a sisal bag to further extend the soap's lather which we have available for sale.
Q. What is the best way to store your soap?
A. If you want to store your soap before you use it, store it in a dark dry area like a linen closet or drawer.
Q. Do you test any of your products on animals?
A. Absolutely not. All of our products are vegan. None of the ingredients we use are tested on animals.
Q. Do any of your products contain animal products?
A. No. All of our ingredients contain zero animal products.
Q. I have sensitive skin and can't use most soaps. Will I be able to use yours?
A. Yes, most likely you will be able to use our soaps because they are incredibly mild and gentle. Most commercial soaps are detergent based, using lots of synthetic ingredients, and that's what usually causes skin reactions. We are not aware of anyone who is unable to use our soaps. If you have allergies to essential oils, then we suggest you double check the ingredients to make sure.
Q. When will my order ship?
A. We want to get you your order as fast as possible. Customer service is our number one priority. We normally ship individual customer orders within 1 - 2 business days, via US Postal. If you place your order over a weekend, please don't start counting business days until Monday! Or if it's a holiday weekend, Tuesday!
Q. My order was damaged during shipping. What do I do?
A. Please contact us immediately at info@wondermountainsoap.com to let us know what happened, and we will replace the item(s) free of charge including shipping.
Q. How do I return an item?
A. We want you to be 100% satisfied with our soap. If for any reason, you are not satisfied, let us know. We'll do our best to make it right for you. If you are still not fully satisfied with your product(s) we will automatically refund you for that item. Use the Contact page or send an email to info@wondermountainsoap.com to request a refund.
Q. Will my product look exactly like it does in the photo?
A. Due to the nature of handmade products, you may see slight variations. We do our best to accurately photograph our soap.
Q. Do you ship to International Locations?
A. Unfortunately we do not ship internationally....yet. As soon as we are able to we will change this answer to a resounding YES!
